Why Descaling Matters

Limescale buildup reduces heating efficiency, restricts water flow, and can eventually damage the reservoir. In hard water areas (most of Belgium, southern UK, central Europe), descaling every 3 months is essential.

Descaling Process

• Empty the reservoir

• Run a heating cycle
