Daily Cleaning
For daily maintenance, simply wipe your Quooker tap with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. This removes fingerprints, water spots, and everyday dust. For Chrome and Stainless Steel finishes, dry immediately to prevent water marks.
Weekly Deep Clean
Once a week, use a mild soap solution (warm water + a drop of dish soap) to clean the entire tap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
Finish-Specific Care
Chrome: Use a dedicated chrome polish for extra shine. Avoid products containing ammonia or bleach.
Stainless Steel: Clean with stainless steel cleaner following the grain direction.
Black/Gunmetal: Use only water and microfiber — harsh cleaners can strip the coating.
Gold/Rose Copper: Gentle cleaning only. These plated finishes require extra care.
Patinated Brass: Do NOT polish. The patina develops naturally and should not be removed.
What to Avoid
Never use: abrasive scouring pads, bleach-based cleaners, acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon juice), steam cleaners, or pressure washers. These can permanently damage the tap finish and void your warranty.
Descaling
For hard water areas, descale the tap spout every 3-6 months using a Quooker-approved descaling solution. See our full descaling guide for more details.
